I don't even know why they would make this move when CP3 is still on their CAP.
By waiving him they still owe his half his salary which is $15 million. So now they have $15 million in dead cap space with no starting point guard.

I wonder where he's going......He could come to Brooklyn for a Vet Min The Phoenix Suns have waived Chris Paul, making him a free agent (3)

He still wants to compete so I wouldn’t be surprised if he considers the Lakers or Celtics.

If he wants to compete it should be The Celtics, They can load-manage him throughout the season and have him ready for the playoffs.
If The Lakers add him it will just be 3 injured-prone stars fighting to stay out of the play-in again.

I could also see CP3 playing for The Clippers or even The Nuggets, he could be a decent player off their bench if they lose Bruce Brown this summer.

Well, it's been cool being a part of the Sun fandom for the past few seasons, but I go where Chris Paul goes. He's going to join a real contender or take his a$$ home to LA where his wife and kids live.

I'm glad he got waived b/c some ppl thought he was going to allow himself to be traded to Houston(!) or San Antonio so he could baby-sit grown men instead of playing for a ring.

Who are they getting for $7 million as their starting Point Guard?

The grass aint always greener on the other side The Phoenix Suns have waived Chris Paul, making him a free agent (11)
KD really should've stay, especially now with the Nets rumored to get Dame (I don't care for that trade) but a KD & Dame duo could've won the East.

I know some Laker haters hope he won’t come to LA.

Im a life long Laker fan and I don’t want him on the Lakers unless he’s clearly going to be a bench player to give our starting guard a rest.

It was sad to see him dribbling the ball for 18 seconds on the offensive sets for the Suns.

This was a good move for the Suns

He should go to the Heat or Sixers

I personally hope he does they won't get a ring if it happens. Celtics are fine too.

Although if he goes to the Lakers it would be a decade too late.

Not gonna happen. Chris has had smoke for Daryl Morey b/c he said he wasn't going to trade him (from Houston) to OKC, but did any way. He really doesn't like that man.
