Can you believe Christmas is next week?! Do you have any plans? My husband and I will be hosting my side of the family at our house on Christmas Eve and visiting with his family on Christmas Day.

We'll be enjoying tamales, along with several snacks and appetizers. You better believe this easy chex mix will make an appearance.

What is Texas Trash?

Holiday Texas Trash is a salty, spicy, delicious combination of corn chex, wheat chex, cheerios, mini pretzels, peanuts, and more.

It’s tossed with melted butter that has been combined with hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Don't worry, if you're dairy free like me, just use plant based or vegan butter!

Original Texas Trash is cooked in the oven at a low temperature until it’s toasty and baked to perfection!

Hi JoAnn, I typically use Tapatío or Tabasco sauce. I think Sriracha would be delicious!
