I have an appointment with Chase set for tomorrow morning to open a chequing/savings account to establish a relationship with them in hopes of having an easier time opening up a credit card with them in a few months. Should I bother with this or just wait until a few months down the line and open both the chequing/savings account + my first Chase credit card all in one go?
If you want a Chase branded credit card (CSP, CFU or CFF), I would say you probably have a good chance of opening a bank account and credit card at the same time tomorrow.
If you want to wait another month or so to apply for a credit card, then a bank account may not be needed, but it can't hurt.

It's a restriction. It can't even be a common VPN because they will ban common VPNs. Has to be an uncommon one. Same on Android, not even iOS.

That's okay, and I don't mind if I have to use apple wallet or CP1 app. The problem is still there for SavorOne, although I managed to add VX without much issue.

What are credit limits on the personal cards?
Do you use these personal cards regularly (at least once per month)?

Total across all three is about 27k. I use them semi regularly. I've been putting most on the business and chase personal to meet some minimum spends for the past months.

So, I guess at least 1 card has 10k or above credit limit, then? May be putting regular puchases every month on all 3 cards can help with payment history and preapproval. I would suggest to try again after 1-2 months, as CapitalOne might not like your recent credit inquiry in May 2024.
Did you receive a letter from CapitalOne on why they couldn't pre-approve you for VentureX?
For my case:
- I tried pre-approaval tool in Mar 2024 for Venture X and it was "not pre-approved".The reason was "time since recent credit inquiry was too short" and "insufficient revolving account experience".
- I requested to increase credit limit of my Amex card from 5k to 15k (so that I have at least 1 card with 10k credit limit or above), and put some small purchases on all of my 3 personal credit cards monthly
- I tried the preapproval tool again in May 2024 and was "approved".

Chase has a 30% bonus on reward points transfer to AP.
Reading 20%+10% bonus if you hold Chase AP card, another blog mentions 20%+10% if you transfer more than 50000 points
