hey tell our friends what we're gonna, draw today marshmallow the fortnite skin, yeah we're super excited it's brand new, yeah and we thought it would be fun to, draw them yes yeah we hope you're, excited and you're gonna follow along, with us what do they need for this, lesson markers some paper and something, to color with yeah we're first going to, draw his head and it's a big cylinder, shape we're going to draw a, squashed circle up here, or an oval, we're going to draw it really squashed, and really wide, we're going to draw his head super big, then we're going to draw two lines, coming down and i'm actually going to, draw them coming in, towards the bottom, so they're tapering, yeah good job then down here at the, bottom we're going to draw a, curve that connects the left side over, to the right side, there looks like a marshmallow, that's the general shape of his head, it's a cylinder and we're going to draw, his eyes and their x's we're going to, first draw a raindrop shape comes down, like this and then back up to a point, and i'm drawing it, sideways or diagonal, yeah now we're going to draw another one, going the other direction, and it's going to cross it like that and, then come back up to the top, cool now let's repeat that same step, over here for a second eye we're going, to draw another range raindrop shape, comes up back down and back up, then we're going to do the same thing, going across, back up, all right now we can draw his mouth and, we're going to start on the outside of, this eye and draw a big happy smile, then we're going to draw another line, underneath it, let's make it look like his mouth is, open, come back up and connect now we're going, to color in his eyes and also his mouth, now this part we're going to fast, forward but you guys can pause it to, take time to color in your drawing also, next we're ready to draw his body we're, going to draw two lines coming down from, his chin and these are going to taper, also so we're going to start wider at, the top and then come down, towards his waist, yeah now down here at the bottom let's, draw another curve to connect the two, lines, and then let's draw two more lines, coming out further and we don't want, these to go too far out but we're gonna, we're going to get wider towards the, bottom, big legs there you go yeah that's all, right he's pretty tall then we're going, to draw an upside down v in between now, i'm going to be close to this line here, go up, and then back down and get close on the, other side this is where his ankles will, be, yeah good job he's in his power stance, yes now down here at the bottom let's, connect, a line, across his ankles, and then we can draw his shoes so i'm, going to draw a short line down for his, heel, on the inside of both of his legs yeah, and then we can draw the top of his shoe, coming forward and then it can even, curve a little bit over his toes and, then we can do that same line over here, on the other side, then let's connect the bottom of his, shoe, on the left and also on the right now we, can also draw one let's draw another, line on the bottom of his shoe like that, and then also over here on this side for, the soles of his shoes all right now, let's add the tongue on his shoe we're, just going to draw a little loop that, goes up and back down, then let's also add some details to his, pants we're going to draw a diagonal, line that starts like where his knee, would be, and then we're going to come down touch, his shoe we could do the same thing on, the other side, diagonal line and then touch the shoe, then let's add a few lines going across, now these are the lights are when you, pants he looks really cool when he, starts dancing now these aren't really, black we're going to go back over these, with a gray colored pencil to make them, lighter towards the end, all right now let's draw his pockets and, they're just rectangle shapes that are, diagonal so i'm going to draw an l, shape or the letter l, and then we can draw an upside down l to, connect it yeah just like that and then, let's repeat that same step on the other, side, an l, upside down l and it makes a really long, rectangle now let's draw all the cool, stuff on his sweatshirt first let's draw, another line that goes across, his waist, now let's draw his neck we're going to, draw a, u-shape underneath his chin and we can, draw a bigger one that goes right next, to that one, now let's draw the strap or the, bandolier that goes across his chest, we're going to draw two diagonal lines, i'm going to start here and draw one, that comes all the way up, then i'm going to draw another one that, comes down, right next to it, now he's got these two pockets on it so, let's draw a rectangle shapes that are, bigger than the diagonal lines so i'm, going to draw two lines like that, connect the top and the bottom, and then draw another one right next to, it, connect the top and also the bottom, next we can add a few more lines to the, strap i'm going to add one here, and also one down here, and two, lower all the way, down close to his waist okay now let's, color in this little rectangle and also, these pockets on a, strap, what should we draw next his arms his, arms okay we're going to draw a curve, that comes down to the side on both, sides, yeah i'm going to draw them a little, longer on each side and then we're going, to draw another line that's right next, to it so i'm going to start close kind, of like what we did down here for the, ankle and then towards the top i'm going, to get further away so his arms get, thicker towards the top do the same, thing over here, next let's connect the bottom, and we can also draw another line right, above it for the end of his sweater, sleeves, okay now we can draw his gloves let's, first draw a thumb, it's going to be a sideways u connected, to his wrist and we could do the same, thing on the other side but going the, other direction, next let's draw the outside of his hand, we're going to draw a curve that comes, down, around and then we're also going to draw, the first finger, and we could do the same thing over here, come back in for his first finger then, let's connect that finger up to his, thumb on both sides, now let's give him some more fingers, we'll just draw two more curves, right next to that first finger, big fingers, it's all right it looks like he's got, big mittens on yeah or other knits or, mickey's making gloves gloves, all right let's draw those same fingers, over here on the other side, it's okay that our two drawings look, different right yep because the most, important thing is have fun have fun and, to practice and to practice both our, drawings are different but they both, look awesome and i'm sure your drawings, look super cool too all right let's keep, going let's add some lines to his, sleeves so right here i'm going to draw, maybe like five lines that come across, his arm, and then i'm gonna do the same thing, over here, five, all right cool okay we got one more, detail to add to his gloves i'm gonna, add a little rectangle on the on the, outside and also over here on this side, all right we're missing one last thing, and it's one of the coolest parts to, this drawing his grenades yeah his, awesome grenades they look like his head, and they're stuck to his belt yeah, looks like small little marshmallows, yeah all right we're gonna draw a square, right here attached to, the side of his well it's half of a, square, yeah there you go now we can draw some, details let's add an x for the eye on, his grenade, and then we can draw, half of the smile so i'm just going to, draw a curve like this, right under the eye, now let's draw the top part of the, grenade we're going to draw a rectangle, that comes down back up well it's just, two lines next to each other, yeah we're kind of running out of room, and then we can also add a little part, on the top, and we can color that in too all right, jack we did it we finished drawing, marshmallow he looks really cool we, could leave him just like this right, yeah because what color is he white, white but let's add some shading to make, him look even more 3d now this part, we're going to fast forward but at the, end you guys composite to match the same, shading or coloring you ready to fast, forward yes, [Music], great job jack you did awesome on, coloring and shading marshmallow you, turned out super cool you think he looks, better colored in yes i hope our friends, are going to take time to color theirs, also now we started dark on the outside, of his head and got lighter towards the, center and then that makes his head look, more like a marshmallow yeah round and, cylinder shape like marshmallow, we also added shading to his arms and, his legs we hope you had a lot of fun, drawing marshmallow yeah we do we hope, you had a lot of fun and we'll see you, later our friends goodbye

Cool Platinum Age gem - The Story Of Just Kids (McLoughlin Bros. 1932). This is a 20 page mixture of text and prose illustrated in 3 colors. Just Kids was a kid humor strip that ran from 1923 to 1950. It was popular enough to inspire a comic book, a coloring book and a fistful of Big Little Books. 14
